New York 2009: Frank and Brian
We bought vegetables at the farmer’s market that we visited earlier in the day, and Brian and I picked up the rest of goods Frank wanted to cook dinner for us. Either Frank or Brian will have to comment and leave the name of the chicken dish. It was light and good, though.
Since this was our last night, after dinner we headed to Times Square for some cheesecake at Junior’s. Holy cow was it good! I wish I had a piece right now.

Do You Like My Coat?
Yesterday, I stopped at Macy’s and bought a pea coat. The price for this black, Calvin Klein pea coat was reduced to $150. Later research on amazon.com proved that I couldn’t get a comparable coat any cheaper. The sleeves where a little long, but I bought it anyway. I haven’t bought a coat in years, and the one I have on in this picture is a little ratty.
Those were all my rationalizations, but the real reason I bought a pea coat is because I fell in love with them again on our recent visit to NYC. You couldn’t turn around without seeing several people wearing them. It was almost like a uniform for the city.
I’m returning the coat this afternoon because:
$150 is a lot of money for me to spend on a coat;
I think my coat is perfectly fine;
I’m back in Nashville and not in NYC.
