It’s 3:46 am, that’s why. I’ve been awake since 2 something. I woke up and heard something off. It took awhile to realize that it was water running somewhere. Turns out the hose running to the motion sensor sprinkler set up to keep the deer out of the garden is busted. It’s the fourth one this season. One I ran over with the mower. Two were cheap replacements from Lowe’s that did last a week. This last one arrived from Amazon this week.

The water is off now, but the heat kicked on. That’s not right. It’s programmed to come on before we wake up. It’s set at 58° overnight. No one should be waking up this soon and it can’t be that cold. Ahhh…I never changed the clock when the time changed.

I still hear something. The freezer in the garage is constantly running. In the past, that has meant the door isn’t closing properly. I check it, but everything is frozen and nothing is blocking the door. I can’t solve this problem now.

All of this up and down has the dogs confused and they want to go out. Of course they do. Fred the cat is convinced it’s time for breakfast.

I’m not going to be able to go back 3 sleep. If I do, it will be 30 minutes before the alarm goes off. I have to work today. I’ve got a Sister thing tonight. It’s going to be a long day.
