Sunday’s Shot of Grace: Thanksgiving Hands

We use these hands to write our thanksgiving prayers each year. Then we stick them into the a pumpkin that has a balsam wood turkey head in the front. Thus, the hands are transformed into turkey feathers. The decorated turkey pumpkin serves as our centerpiece for the Thanksgiving meal.

The hands in the image represent about eight years of thanksgiving prayers.
