Morning Commute Cam: Maundy Thursday Explained

The word Maundy comes from the Middle English maunde ceremony of washing the feet of the poor on Maundy Thursday, the Anglo-French mandet, from Latin mandatum command; from Jesus’ words in the Gospel of John. First used in the 15th century.
