I imagine that you love your friends and family enough to get out and wash the china and use it rather than let them suffer through eating a festive dinner that many hands lovingly prepared that is now seeping through a paper plate onto either their lap or your tablecloth. The decorative arts were made to be used, enjoyed, and shared. If not now, then when?
