I finally got around to putting the kids in charge of cooking dinner. Ben planned the menu and he decided on spaghetti. He and I went grocery shopping, lucked out, and found reduced-price manager’s special ground chuck.
Ruth cooked the ground chuck, heated the sauce, and boiled the noodles…
…while Ben made a salad for me and fruit salad for all of us.
They heated some Cuban bread at 350º for 10 minutes, set the table, and then we were ready to chow down!
Sam was away at piano practice so he got stuck cleaning the dishes.
Good food, good job!
