You are just too cute…green is my favorite color too!! Did the school kids look at you funny talking to yourself ? I have no pets but have the most loveable grandpup in the world. She is about 4 years old and weighs only 4 pounds!!! Looks like a Yorkie and and is half toy poodle and half chi …don’t know correct spelling, Chipoo is her breed. She belongs to Dina’s daughter Marley.

I have a pet! Named Bubba! (Bubba would not like to be thought of as a pet so don’t tell him.) Bubba requires no food/ water or attention. Well, some cosmetic surgery about every two years but that’s the extent of maintanence. Great companion, always agreeable, somewhat too private for my taste, but then Bubba would say the same thing about me. So — good match for the two of us. Yes, Grandchildren, I do have a pet!
And happy 8-9-10 to you too, Doug.LikeLike

I have a question for you for next Monday. Think about a touchstone… an object from your life which reminds you of who you are and what your value most in life. Chances are you have many of them. They are most often simple objects sitting on a shelf or packed away in a box… but at a glance, they take you to a particular place or a special relationship that has impacted your life. So what touchstone would you like to share with us?

I used to have a pet, but she has turned into an obsession . . . with absolutely no regrets on my part. Want to eat from my dishes? Here you are, Lulu, enjoy my breakfast. Need to take a nap with me on my couch? Cuddle up, Lulu, the laundry can wait. Have a scratch that requires a magnifying glass to find? Relax, Lulu, the vet will see us in an hour.
Who knew that dogs were just people (companions) in disguise???? Ask Lulu.

Hi, Doug. I continue to love watching your commute cam videos. Fantastic! We have a dog (mixed Rotweiller and German Shepherd), 2 1/2 years old, named Greta Garbo Gregory. She has her own Facebook page, so you can see pics of her. Yes, we understand treating our pets like our children; after all, they are are fur babies.
Take care and say “hi” to everyone for me. Keep up the great work!

Hey Doug, green is also my favorite color. I googled it and it said, “Green is calming, the color of fresh beginnings and new life. Those who love green are affectionate and loyal. If green is your favorite color, chances are you’re emotional, caring and aware of those around you.” Kinda cool!
Also I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. I love them all.

I like that description, Rebekah. I’d like to think I live up to what the color green inspires. Thanks for the question.
