Sunday’s Shot of Grace: Happy Grandparents’ Day

Ruth:

I love you Grandmommy.
I grew up with you always in my life which I loved.
I’m so thankful I can talk to you about anything and you’ll understand.
I hope once I’m all grown up and off to college, you’ll still rub my forehead so I can go to sleep.

Ben:

First of all, Happy Grandparents’ day! I’m so lucky to have such a wonderful person in my life. There are so many things that im thankful for that you have given me. But most of all I thank you for just being there and having such a loving and caring acceptance for me and for everyone. I love you and hope to talk to you soon 🙂

Sam:

Grandmommy’s always been the the person I went to for stories. Like Bubba
the alien and explanations that didn’t have to make sense. I also love the
thinking log that I had in the little woods behind her house, and how she
gave me my first “driving” experiences on the tractor. She’s the one person
who always puts God into everything she does and could turn anything into a
sermon =]
