In our home, it is open acceptance and understanding of my friends that are gay. My son has been educated that it is not something that should be judged. I think with us being so open and explaining things, has helped my son not judge others on so many levels. I would hope that more parents in OUR age range would be more acceptable and supportive of people who just happen to be of a different sexual orientation. I have known you before you came out and now…. hasn’t changed my opinions about you or your philosphies at all. You are DOUG! I’m glad you are able to be a “spokes person” per say. I know that there are kids out there that need more people (like you) to be supportive of them in their discovery stages. I love you!!!
