Ruth asked me the other day what I thought I was “good at”. I thought a few seconds and said I thought I was good at encouraging people. True or False?! The point being – if I think I am then I can be. So, to all you Little Saints out there, when life hands you storms, just remember the rainbows. There will be one!

God gives us all talents and it is up to us to use them to glorify Him. I so agree with what you said about it not being and escape but a way to see things in a different light. Thank you for that reminder. I guess you could count praying as a talent and that is something we can do for everyone. I also feel God put me here to teach young ones and I hope and pray that I use that talent to glorify Him and to help our future adults.

I knew you guys were talented. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and talents here.
Now, what am I talented at? I think folks believe I am a good listener. I know it often helps others to have someone to talk to. And that’s something I enjoy doing.

One of my talents is being creative. I use my artistic abilities on so many levels. It sometimes helps the kids I work with who happen to be in my office. (they are typically foster children) It helps to break the ice with them and makes them feel a connection with me. I have them draw me a picture to hang on my door, and I draw them something. Cathartic for both of us!
