Thanksgiving Hand

This week’s Sunday Shot of Grace needs a little explanation.  I am honored to be a prayer friend this year to a kindergartener who attends church  with me. I asked him to join my family in writing what he’s thankful for on a cut-out of his hand. Each member of my family has done this for years at Thanksgiving. We take the hands and stick them in a pumpkin, and they become the feathers of a turkey centerpiece. I love looking at all the hands from years past.

This is my prayer friend’s thanksgiving hand.

I’m so glad he liked it! It will be nice to include his prayer of thanksgiving around our table on Thursday. Enjoy your time together!
