…I am a human being. I’m sad because my church’s failure to be at the forefront of rights for lgbt persons no longer surprises me.

  1. How long, indeed. I am glad Bishop Talbot had the courage to go against the UMC Book of Discipline. That thing needs to be updated. Badly. I hope that your local church won’t take nearly as long to change as the denomination.
