I added music to my meditation time this morning. I chose Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 19 in F, K.459 : I. Allegro – Cadenza and paired it with a nice lotus mudra. Like a fine wine complements a good meal, the results where deeply satisfying.
I listened to the piece through headphones, so the morning noises from cats and dogs and other loved ones in the house did not distract. I never once looked at the timer running on my chime app, but instead I was surprised when I heard its peaceful tone over the music.
I hope adding music to my meditation time will help further root the practice into my life.
I don’t think I could stand listening to Mozart while meditating; I would be too tuned into the tune rather!

Something I should try. I always get good starts to meditation then it goes by the wayside and I feel better when I meditate regularly….hmmm…
